互连产品供货商Molex公司推出市场上第一个一体化S8汽车灯座。此楔形灯座能够简化装配过程、降低库存和组件成本，同时为用户提供了与Molex所有汽车灯座相同的高质量性能及稳健设计。Molex S8灯座还包括独特的独立导线密封设计，可以在铆压过程中轻易连接，并提供出色的密封水平和可用性。

Molex全球产品经理EuiHwa Jung表示，S8型灯座在市场上的应用超过10年，标准的设计是两件式系统，包含一个灯座针脚模块，一边连接灯泡触点，另一边连接内孔插头连接座。Molex意识到简化装配过程的机会，开发出业界第一款一体化S8灯座，提供超越两件式连接座设计的多种竞争优势。

该灯座是方向灯、剎车灯、定位灯和倒车灯等多种运输应用的理想选择，这可让汽车OEM厂商只需准备一种灯座存货，而无需分开采购灯座模块和端子连接座。这款产品经由为每种组件提供一个钥糟(key)类型和颜色，从而简化库存，免除不同颜色的针脚模块、连接座和钥糟类型装配选项的问题。

另外，Molex S8灯座设计具有一个三电路连接座，以适应单丝或双丝灯泡，提供更大的设计灵活性，同时进一步减少库存需求。该灯座满足业界标准要求，并且符合SAE/USCAR-15标准。
